2,170 tests were performed, out of which 12 citizens tested positive. Confirmed positive cases have been identified in the following municipalities: 5 cases in Tirana, 3 cases in Berat, 1 case in Shkodra, Vau Dejes, Elbasan, Saranda.
Currently 42 patients are being treated in COVID hospitals, of which 7 patients are in intensive care.
Despite the efforts of the medical staff, the battle with COVID19 was not won by 1 citizen from Prrenjas, 61 years old. The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expresses its condolences to the family.
In the last 24 hours 93 citizens have recovered, bringing the number of recovered to 129,308 since the beginning of the epidemic.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection addresses the citizens not to neglect any signs of illness and to contact the family doctor for any doubt, to perform the testing as well as for the follow-up and outpatient treatment in the apartment.
