The names of 35 people arrested last night during the second semifinal of the Denmark-England European Championship were played, as part of the operation to crack down on gambling. ABC journalist Xhensila Kodra has provided the list of people arrested in 12 districts of the country.
The operation was attended by the Sectors for Investigation of Economic and Financial Crime in each DVP, the Special Force “Eagles”, General Patrols and several groups of FNSH, under the direction of the Criminal Police Department in the State Police.
As material evidence were seized: 15 computers, 5 gambling machines, 16 tablets used for betting, 8 poker tables, 15 DVRs, 41 mobile phones, 5 million ALL and other material evidence, which service for the exercise of gambling.
List of names of arrested persons
– Tirana. In the framework of the operation “Semifinal” by DVP Tirana and the dependent Commissariats, 19 citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto, namely: Arben Shahu, Arnaldo Zenelaj, Skënder Mejdani, Amarildo Duka, Daniel Latifaj, Bruno Lico, Sinan Murati, Enel Çarçani, , Indrit Lika, Muhamed Xhafa, Gentian Garuja, Altin Forgali, Gramoz Dragjoshi, Ardian Qosja, Hysni Masha, Besarb Hykollari, Luan Billa and Ferdinant Hysenbelliu.
– Vlora- In the framework of the operation “Semifinal”, citizens Erjon Meminaj, Klejdi Dulaj, Orli Gjyzeli, Jon Zotaj, Marjo Tairaj and Romeo Haderi were arrested in flagrante delicto.
Shkodër- In the framework of the police operation codenamed “Semifinal”, the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto: Nikolin Paja, Muharrem Firi, Silvano Peraj, Ilir Toska and Arnes Demolli.
– Durrës – In the framework of the operation “Semifinal”, citizens Xhulio Preçi and Briand Muça were arrested in flagrante delicto, after they were found exercising illegal gambling activity.
– Fier-In the framework of the operation “Semifinal” in the district of Fier, the citizen Klaudio Çela was arrested.
– Bulqiza- In the framework of the operation “Semifinal”, the citizen Izet Përoxha was arrested in flagrante delicto, after he was found exercising illegal gambling activity
-Korçë Region, in the framework of the operation “Semifinal”, citizen Renaldi Berberi was arrested in flagrante delicto
