According to a British study conducted by the Institute of Public Health in England, vaccines against coronavirus Pfizer and AstraZeneca are “very effective”, after two doses, against the variant identified in India.
The Pfizer vaccine, reports the BBC, was found to be 88% effective in stopping the disease from Indian mutation two weeks after the second dose.
While, according to the study, AstraZeneca is 60% effective. However, both vaccines are only 33% effective three weeks after a single dose.
