Fixed 14 days after the first foreign language exam, nearly 34,000 high school graduates had the result in hand.
It was the Minister of Education, Evis Kushi, who chose to make public the news together with the link of the results, next to which she writes that she is satisfied with the first results.
“I am optimistic about the results of our graduates in the first exam of the State Matura, a foreign language, where a good part have excelled with their maximum results. Best wishes to all! ”
But the figures say the opposite.
The first exam, especially that of foreign language, which historically graduates have received the highest scores compared to the other two compulsory exams, did not turn out so promising. Only 36 absolute tithes, or five times less than last year.
While the number of remnants has almost doubled. Out of 1232 graduates who were evaluated with a grade of 4.00 in the foreign language exam in Matura 2020, this year the number of those who go for autumn is 2199 graduates. By the end of the month, the graduates will have received the results for all four exams completed, as required by the regulation, two weeks after its development.
Specifically, on the 21st, QSHA is expected to issue grades of Albanian language and literature and four days later those of mathematics, the exam contested by the vast majority of graduates.
Unlike others, where graduates know more or less the result, based on the assessment scheme published on the website of the Ministry, in mathematics not. After three days of protests, the Ministry of Education decided to lower the threshold for each grade, but without a concise outline of how it would do so.
Exactly for this topic, no. 1 of education, Evis Kushi, held a meeting with teachers, parents and graduates.
“A fruitful conversation with teachers, graduates and parents, to discuss some of the problems identified during the Matura exams, which will then serve us for an in-depth analysis for the full review of the State Matura in all acts regulatory and its full administration ”, says the minister.
After two maturas accompanied by mass protests, the State Matura will be reformed in detail. Kushi has already started working to get opinions, ideas and evaluations to improve the process.
