The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti at the meeting of the Ministerial Council for European Integration of the Government of Kosovo said that he expects the requests of the European Union to be taken seriously.
“We aspire to be a developed country and EU standards should be guiding. We should not see European integration from a distance, on the contrary, we should see it as an opportunity to develop. “Ownership of the reforms remained with us,” he said.
Kurti further added that “Fulfilling many criteria depends on our will and commitment. One of the direct benefits with the EU is the reflection of the work done to us by the EU. So the responsibility will be demanded from the ministers for concrete reforms. “To this end, the integration agenda must be compassionate.”
