Lulzim Basha is a leader who does not know how to manage the loss, so he can not go to victory. Lulzim Basha does not know how to read the reasons that have made him a leader symbol of failure, so he can not climb to the height of a winner. Lulzim Basha has never seen in his eyes the truth that he has brought in this situation, so he does not have the slightest ambition to really and deeply change it, to go one day towards triumph.
Being a leader appointed by Sali Berisha at the head of the DP; being a leader who has never won a single electoral race; being a losing leader; being a deceitful and sleepy leader; being a non-original leader; being a leader without charisma and without identity, – Lulzim Basha expects this story to be repeated again in the race just started within the DP, which will culminate with the vote “one member one vote” on June 13.
Therefore, Lulzim Basha did not take responsibility for the defeat of the opposition in the April 25 elections. And to think that he first opened the champagne of victory and ate the cake of triumph. “Our victory is in the ballot box,” he said, but the next day, he read out the draft of the defeat denial. And then, he said that he would not burn the mandates of the deputies, thus officially accepting the election result. Anipse, the victory of SP and Edi Rama, have been certified not only by the CEC, but also by the OSCE / ODIHR, USA and EU.
Lulzim Basha rejects the defeat by inventing all kinds of theories about it, because he has the trouble of running for party leader, in order to remove the responsibilities from himself. But he is being forced to bring back the opposition after 2 years within the Parliament and the political and democratic system of the country, because the process and the result of the elections legitimized it. Even the majority that emerged from it was legitimized. The new government of Edi Rama and the SP, which will be voted by the new Parliament in September, was also legitimized.
Lulzim Basha, being a leader full of contradictions and not at all coherent in his attitudes and actions in the big political scene of the country, mostly reflects these defects, in the race within his party. In a race where he has not yet resigned, even formally, from the party leader, to be “equal” to his challengers directly in the race. Lulzim Basha changed the date of the elections, approaching it from July 22, to June 13. He set up the commission that will administer the process, with his suicide bombers, and controls all structures, membership lists and the party seal.
And with all these advantages, Lulzim Basha is still not sure about the victory, reflecting every day more and more fear and insecurity. This is evidenced by the fact that so far 4 other candidates have entered the race for the new leader of the Democratic Party against him, half of whom are real challengers and the other half completely fictitious. It is the first time that a large political party in Albania registers so many challengers in front of the official incumbent president, in a race like this!
The more alternative candidates he has in this race, the greater seems to be Lulzim Basha’s fear of victory, so he is seeking to compensate for this through the trick of fragmenting their vote as much as possible. A sure sign that he is looking to have in the end, a much higher percentage of votes, compared to each of them separately.
It is precisely this game that makes Lulzim Basha’s formal victory his biggest political loss. Because it will be the clearest mirror to see how he really loves the election race, in front of Edi Rama and SP.
Lulzim Basha is not one of those leaders who does not choose the opponent, but always chooses to win in front of everyone. To date, Lulzim Basha has once secured the victory at the table and after that he has formally entered the race to certify it.
