2,000 marijuana roots seized on the outskirts of Vienna and three Macedonian citizens arrested. In a joint action between our police and the Austrian one, an international criminal group was destroyed. Three illegal drug production laboratories have been discovered in the territory of the Austrian capital, where the services of both countries have followed the dealers to catch them in the act. In the basement of the building where hybrid cannabis drugs were cultivated and packaged, which on the black market is known as “amnesia”, the value of 10,000 euros per kilogram is announced, according to the information services of the Ministry of Interior.
It is about laboratories equipped with sophisticated equipment, located in the basement of 3 residential buildings, where more than 2000 marijuana roots were seized. In the action were deprived of liberty 3 persons who participated directly in the cultivation and further sale of narcotics and are part of a larger international organized criminal group, which operates in several European countries – said Suzana Pranjic-Talevska, Spokeswoman of the MIA.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs says that it continues with high intensity to pursue all illegal activities for the production and sale of drugs on the domestic and international black market.
During the last 24 hours, narcotics were also seized within the state. The anti-drug police of SPB Tetovo last night seized 100 more roots of the type “cannabis sativa”. Three other citizens fell into handcuffs.
On 16.06.2021 around 18:00 in the region between the village of Nerashta in Tetovo and Radusha in Skopje, on the left side of the river Vardar, the police deprived A.Sh. (24 years old), RK (30 years old) and IT (26 years old), all three from Skopje, on suspicion of cultivating “cannabis sativa”. At the place where they were found, about 100 identical roots were found on the plantation, some planted in the ground and some in pots – reports from the SPB Tetovo.
The plants found with other items were kept for further procedure, and after instructions from the Public Prosecutor, the persons were kept at the Tetovo Police Station for processing and full documentation of the case, after which a relevant report will be prepared according to the Criminal Code for “Unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic plants, psychotropic substances and precursors.
