The final night of the traditional film festival, respectively its 74th edition, is being held in Cannes, France.
In this year’s edition, two Kosovar films are competing, and they are the short film “Pa vend” directed by Samir Karahoda, and the feature film, “The Lions of Kodra”, by the new director Luàna Bajrami.
There is also the prime minister’s family, consisting of the head of the Government of Kosovo, Albin Kurti with his wife, Rita Augestad Knudsen, and their daughter Lea.
Prime Minister Kurti has looked quite elegant wearing a formal black suit, as the greatest attention has shifted to his Norwegian wife, who has looked extremely glamorous wearing a long yellow dress.
Meanwhile, their little girl is wearing a dress of the line “Strawberry Dress” of the Albanian designer who lives and works in America, Lirika Matoshi.
Kosovo competes tonight for the “Golden Palm” awards with the film by director Karahoda and for the “Golden Camera” award with the film by director Bajrami.
Albin Kurti is with his family at the Cannes Film Festival in support of these two cinematographic projects, in the participation of what is known as one of the most prestigious film festivals in Europe.
