Today in the premises of the Municipality of Tuz was handed over the gift from Turkey of the vehicle for waste collection which will be used for the needs of KPS “Komunalno / Komunale”.
The vehicle was delivered by the ambassador of Turkey, Songul Ozan AND Abdurrahman S. Topraku, Coordinator of the Turkish Agency for International Cooperation and Coordination – TIKA.
In February of this year, the mayor of Tuz, Mr. Nik Gjeloshaj, signed the protocol of cooperation with the Turkish Agency.
With this protocol, the Municipality won the vehicle within the project – Environmental regulation and waste removal in the Municipality of Tuz.
While congratulating the mayor Gjeloshaj for the work and the way of organizing the Municipality, Ambassador Ozan added that the vehicle was donated to support the citizens of the Municipality of Tuzi and that cooperation will continue in the future, in various areas of common interest.
“I am very grateful and grateful to the ambassador and coordinator of the Agency – TIKA for the donation. This generous gesture for our Municipality is another positive step in the relations between the Republic of Turkey and the Municipality of Tuz, where I am sure that the bilateral cooperation will continue in the future. ” – said Gjeloshaj in his speech.
As a sign of gratitude, President Gjeloshaj thanked Mr. Abdurrahman S. Topraku, Coordinator of the Turkish Agency TIKA, and Vice President Mr. Haris Ramoviur donated the book “Tuzi and Tuzjans through photography and time”.
During the handover of the vehicle, the President of the Assembly, Mr. Fadil Kajoshaj, the Deputy Mayors of the Municipality of Tuz, Mr. Ivan Ivanaj and Mr. Haris Ramovi së were present together with the Director of KPS “Komunalno / Komunale”, Mr. Nikolë Camaj.
