The Chairman of the New Democratic Force, Nazif Cungu, and the MP Genci Nimanbegu, met yesterday with the Speaker of the Parliament of Montenegro and at the same time the Speaker of the Democrats, Aleksa Be Beiiq.

The interlocutors concluded that this is an ideal opportunity to advance relations at all levels, between the Democrats of Montenegro, as a civic party and the Force, as a party representing the Albanian national community.
Cungu and Beçiiq especially emphasized the concern for inciting transnational hatred, as well as for the irresponsible promotion of religious intolerance, fully agreeing with the position that it is the duty of all together to work on reducing tensions, reconciliation and building social cohesion, which, as they have pointed out, is an essential need of Montenegro and all its citizens.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the Force, Mr. Cungu, again congratulated the Speaker of the Assembly, noting that Mr. Beçi udhëheq leads the Assembly in accordance with the Constitution and laws, and that a balanced attitude towards all MPs is especially evident, despite the fact that which party they belong to.

Cungu invited Beçiq to visit the Force headquarters in Ulcinj and to continue talks on cross-party cooperation between the two entities, which with their own forces can greatly contribute to the overall advancement of Montenegro on its European path.
President Beçi shumë has reiterated many times the firm position that parties representing minorities should be part of the government, regardless of who exercises that power, and that this can be a practice at all levels of government. This, in his words, would be a sincere affirmation that the inherited negative things from the recent past are being successfully overcome, while the progressive ideas of mature and responsible policies are taking precedence in our society.
Also, President Becic thanked President Cungu and MP Nimanbegu for their correct and constructive approach, as well as for the peaceful attitudes during the presentation of the ideas and policies of the Force, concludes the statement of the Force.
