Kosovo registered one victim and 11 new cases of coronavirus. In the last 24 hours, 146 patients have been cured, leading to 104,054 of the total number of people cured of COVID-19.
Active cases of coronavirus continue to be 1,198.
Health authorities also say that during the last 24 hours, 1,647 people have been vaccinated against the coronavirus.
Since the end of March, when the immunization campaign against COVID-19 started, 80,126 people have been vaccinated in Kosovo.
Currently, Kosovo is using the vaccines donated by the COVAX program of the World Health Organization and the vaccines that the country has received as a donation from the European Union.
The Government of Kosovo has said that it has signed an agreement with the company Pfizer for the purchase of 1.2 million doses of the vaccine, which will arrive in the country by the end of the year.
Authorities have said that by the end of the year they intend to immunize 60 percent of Kosovo’s population against coronavirus.
