Russian President Vladimir Putin has reacted to the head of British foreign intelligence MI6, Richard Moore, who called Russia a “declining power.”
Putin at a press conference via video conference in St. Petersburg. Petersburg reacted to the head of British intelligence.
According to AA, referring to Richard Moore, Russian President Putin said: “Do not try to further ruin Russian-British relations“.
““He is still young in this task, he needs to gain some experience and then possibly come back and assess whether or not Russia is a declining power.”, – said Putin.
The Russian president further said about Moore: “For this reason why worry, live only your life and do not try to further ruin Russian-British relations“.
Noting that relations between the two countries have improved over the past year, Putin referred to Moore as “everything will be better if relations are not interfered with.”
The head of MI6, Moore, who previously served as Britain’s ambassador to Ankara, said in an interview in April that “it is clear that Russia is declining economically and demographically” in response to the poisoning events in the territory of Britain for which Moscow is allegedly involved.
Moor called Russia’s behavior “reckless” and added that this is why Western countries have acted together against Russia.
