German Minister for Europe, Michael Roth, will arrive in Tirana to pay a two-day visit to Tirana. It is learned that during his visit to our country, the progress of the integration process and the opening of Albania’s negotiations with the European Union will be discussed.
“The future of the Western Balkans is European, now we must act decisively so that there is no doubt about this future,“- wrote the German minister on Twitter.
The first that Roth will meet tomorrow is Prime Minister Edi Rama, to then hold a press conference by the Prime Ministry around 18:30.
Roth is coming to Albania after a visit to northern Macedonia, a country that runs parallel to us towards the EU. Before arriving in Skopje, the minister said that this was the last time for the European Union to fulfill its promises to start membership negotiations with Northern Macedonia and Albania.
