The candidate for chairman of the Democratic Party, Agron Shehaj says that the Democratic Party must change today so as not to lose in the next parliamentary elections.
In a press conference, Shehaj said the chairman of the Democratic Party should have only one chance, if he loses the election, he should leave.
My candidacy is an attempt to get a post but the beginning of the PD change. The DP must change today so that it is possible to change Albania tomorrow.
Not only will the new mayor be elected but they will decide whether they want to win or lose again in the next parliamentary elections.
To defeat his regime he needs a leader completely different from him. Uncorrupted. Our party needs a deep and immediate reform. Being the chairman of the Democratic Party should not only be a privilege, but also a responsibility. “In the statute, the mayor should have only one opportunity to resign if he fails.”, said Shehaj.
Asked if Basha is corrupt, Shehaj said no, but hinted that the DP leader is not perceived as uncorrupted in public.
“NO. In front of Rama we need a man different from Edi Rama. It has to be uncorrupted and people think it is uncorrupted“, Said Shehaj.
